Death by Design

Performed on June 8th, 9th and 10th 2023, Death by Design was our first spring production after a break of a few years.

A murder mystery and a farce all in one!

The action takes place all in one room. Edward Bennett is a playwright and his wife Sorel, an actress. They flee London following a disastrous opening night to their country home.

However, various guests keep showing up unexpectedly consisting of:

• A conservative politician

• A fiery socialist

• A near signed innocent young woman

• A zany modern dancer

• The cheeky chauffeur

Each of them has a long-held secret. When one of the guests is murdered, it's left to Bridget, a rather feisty, cantankerous maid who also happens to have a rather macabre interest in homicide to uncover the murderer.
