About Us
Since our inception in 1943 we have become a thriving amateur dramatic group based in Kimpton Village in North Hertfordshire.
As a registered charity The Kimpton Players has raised many thousands of pounds for local and national groups and charities.
Very much part of our local and wider communities we get together to put on up to three productions a year - our 'Old Time Music Hall' in February / March, a play in June, and a pantomime in November / December. We have also recorded some radio plays.
We welcome anyone from the age of 11 upwards. Along with The Kimpton Players we also have an energetic youth section called the Junior Kimpton Players (JKP) who produce their own shows and even participate in some of our other productions.
We are always looking for new members and welcome anyone interested in trying out or supporting all aspects of our shows or charity activities. Whether producing shows, acting, singing, stage management, scenery, lighting, sound, front of house, or helping make the tea, we're a supportive, collaborative community that simply enjoy what we do and the difference we can make.
If you're interested in getting involved yourself, please get in touch to find out more about how to join us!
